Mazal Tov to New Rabbis!

Isralight is fortunate to meet many young aspiring Jewish educators through our various leadership training modules.

Many of these young men have spent years in intensive study, and are anxious to prepare themselves for careers in Jewish leadership.

A group of young men have been pursuing their rabbinic studies in our Beit Midrash under the careful guidance of Rabbi Aharon Ziegler, renowned author of five volumes of the Halachic Positions of Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik, and Rosh Kollel/ Dean of Kollel Agudath Achim Rabbinical Seminary.

We wish Mazal Tov to the following young men who will receive their rabbinic ordination in a special ceremony this evening:

Rabbi Kalman Flaks, who continues in his role as a member of the faculty at our Yeshivat Orayta;

Rabbi Yehuda Kowalski, who continues to be involved in informal Jewish education while completing graduate studies in the New York area

Rabbi Avraham Shandrovsky who will be assuming a position in outreach and education with the San Francisco area Community Kollel

and

Rabbi Yehoshua Shraeger who recently joined the faculty at the Donna Klein Hebrew Academy High School in Boca Raton, FL

We extend wishes of mazal tov and blessings for continued success and growth to each of the new musmachim!
